This drink is sold in several countries and has now been taken off the market due to poor sales. Shaq was born on April 30, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York. He is 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 325 pounds. He performed well at an early age, scoring over 1,000 points for his high school team before he was even a senior player. This helped him to be recruited by colleges like Georgetown University and the University of Connecticut. While playing college basketball with the UCONN Huskies, he led them to two NCAA championships in 1994 and 1995. He went on to be named the Final Four MVP both years as well. He played with the Orlando Magic for three seasons and was drafted second overall in the 1992 NBA Draft. He went on to win his first championship during his rookie season.

Shaq performs well on the court, but has had a number of high profile battles and problems off the court throughout his career. He had a well-publicized feud with fellow NBA player Charles Barkley in 1997. During their feud, he attacked Barkley with a golf club when Barkley was interviewing Shaq after a game. The attacks did not stop there, as Shaq and Barkley went on to argue for months over who could dunk harder than who, culminating into an all-star game in which both players were suspended for three games by NBA commissioner David Stern. Shaq has also had a number of legal troubles, including his own sexual assault accusations and driving under the influence.

In 2008, Shaquille O’Neal retired from the NBA. He made his announcement in a very public manner on a special hour long television show that was dedicated to him and his career. He stated that he would not be returning to the Los Angeles Lakers or Miami Heat teams and there were reports that he would be retiring due to knee injuries. He returned to the team in 2009, but it was clear from his play that he was no longer capable of playing at the level that players like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James played at.
