10 Signs You’re In Love With Health Products

Every day, there seems to be a new health product on the market. The problem is that as soon as one gains popularity, it will inevitably be followed by several more. From claims of weight loss and cure-alls, to supplements for every imaginable ailment and a detox diet for every occasion — people are always searching for ways to hike their health and overall wellness levels.https://www.thelovelyvigor.com/

Here are 10 signs that you’re most likely in love with health products, and it’s time to let them go.

1. Your health apps, food supplements and devices are always open on your phone.

Mobile health is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Products like “Harmonium”, “Vitalsense” and “Fitbit” have all been accused of being tools for employers to snoop on employees in order to see when they’re having a good or bad day.

2. You’re more interested in people’s health than the latest Android or Apple product.

It’s gotten to the point where a person’s health is more important than anything else — including their tech knowledge. Most people don’t want to be labeled as a geek or nerd these days, but if anything, that means you’re at an advantage!

The latest phone or gadget doesn’t matter if you were never one for them in the first place. All you need is a few friends who can help when your iPhone freezes up , and that’s all you need to be okay with technology.

3. You have at least 5 different kinds of supplements and vitamins on standby in your home.

You’re so convinced that you need to take vitamins that you’ve stocked up on all the different kinds. There’s no way for you to try just one, so you’ve bought at least three of each brand. Some are for your skin, some are for your hair and others are just in case. It doesn’t matter that you don’t have a vitamin deficiency; you’ll feel best if they’re handy.

4. You know all the ingredients in herbal teas and foods by heart.

Herbal teas and edibles can have their place, but it’s important not to overdo it with them, too. If you’re not sure of a particular ingredient, you can either look it up online or simply choose something else. If you know that as soon as you set eyes on a product, it will be gone if left unguarded, then it’s time to listen to your body’s needs and commit to actually eating properly.

5. You’re more invested in your devices’ health than your own.

The latest technology can be amazing and useful, but if you completely rely on a phone, tablet or laptop to keep your health in check then it may be time to give them up. Sure, you need all of those devices for work and school, but that’s not to say that they’re the sole reason for your good health — you still need other things as well.

Find out how much sleep you get every night by having a look at your phone’s clock app — I guarantee it will tell you more about how much quality sleep you actually get than how much time has passed!

6. All of your health products come from the same brand.

It seems that many companies are jumping on the health bandwagon, and it’s all too easy to fall for their claims. It’s easy to get excited about a product when you feel like it’s at the forefront of health products. While that may be true, it can also be a waste of money.

If a health product worked for you once, there’s no guarantee that it will work for you again — unless the brand has changed its formula or ingredient lists. A good example are Red Bull energy drinks — most people think they’re energy-packed because of all their caffeine, but they’re also full of sugar.

7. You’re almost ashamed of the way you look naked and without any makeup on.

Okay, honestly when you look at yourself in the mirror every morning, it’s not because of your face and body  it’s because of your hair and skin. You do try to take good care of your hair and skin, but you like how they look too much to give them up! Better yet, maybe one day you’ll find a product that works for the face as well.

8. You’re eating healthier, but never really losing weight.

An important part of healthy eating is the exercise you get with it. You may think that all your daily walks, jogs and exercises are doing some good  but do you weigh yourself regularly? If not, then it’s time to start! Our bodies are always changing, so keep yourself accountable by weighing yourself regularly  and don’t be afraid if the numbers aren’t what you’d like them to be.

9. You have a large group of friends who share your passion for health products.

Health isn’t bad, per say  but if you’re talking more about your latest health product than you are your latest TV show or book, then it’s time to get back in touch with the real world. Your friends may be just as health-obsessed as you, but they have other interests too so don’t make them feel excluded!

10. All of your clothing is bought from brands that focus on health and wellness.

On the one hand, there’s no point in buying clothes from a brand that doesn’t fit well or make the body look good. On the other hand, if you’re already a healthy person, isn’t it just as important for you to look good? After all, many people are looking at your face once you start smiling and greeting them. If you’re not sure how comfy new clothing is in your own skin, then hold out for the time being.
